You recently changed your signature, no? Did you inadvertently change something in Preferences in your Profile??

The problem arose before I changed my signature (or at least added my old one back in). I did that whilst searching for something to fix the problem, which is only evident on my Mac computer (iPad still works fine).

I'll have a look through that, although much of it goes over my head on first inspection.

I haven't changed browsers or anything. Still on the Safari ...

Beats me. I do have access to the menus for bold and italic fonts, 'polls', the emoticons, YouTube and links, image links, font colours etc when I access the forum on my iPad, but those menus have completely disappeared from my 'viewing experience' when I'm using my Mac.
