The likes of Semenya are a really difficult issue, people will feel wronged either way. She can’t help the way she was born, but other women have an impossible task physically to compete with her.

In terms of transgender women who were clearly born male, however, it’s clearly unfair for them to compete against women, it has to be biology over identity in those cases.

Anyone requiring legally prescribed drugs to compete successfully at the elite levels of sport should be told "hard luck". "Life and genetics can be a bitch".
