This Test seems to have been overlooked.

Bangles all out 103 and West Indies 2-95 at stumps on day 1 ... hard to see this going much past the third day.

I'd like to see some of the West Indian batsmen other than Brathwaite play long knocks here, make some big scores, rather than the usual 40 and out routine.

Ebadot watch: 3 not out, one of his best scores in a spectacular career. Could just be red ink hunting, trying to improve his average.

Didn’t know this was on. Manics certainly seem to have regressed Test-wise recently, and the home side probably won’t need much more than said breezy 40s around a blockathon from Kraigggg.

In that case, I won't be getting what I want, but I will get what I need.

Khaled Ahmed has now played 12 Test innings, his 4 career runs all came with a single shot in a 4* (sure it must have been a glorious cover drive ) which means he has otherwise faced 50 scoreless deliveries and been dismissed 9 times.

His current Test average of 0.44 means that in proportionate terms, he’s 19% as good as Chris Martin. Which is similar to the ratio between Stuart Broad and Don Bradman. Small sample size obviously is a factor, to be fair to him… his FC average is more than a whole run better than Coldplay’s.

As per the above, it was on his debut, in March 2019 He was left stranded on 4* by… Ebadot, of course.

Anyway, Khaled with 0* this time, so doesn’t change his average but his 11th straight scoreless innings. He survived 5 balls as well, which only reduces his strike rate further!
