Only a month til we play some Tests, and there’s England v India as well which should be spicy. Can’t see England winning a game there on current form.

Their test team will be good now that they suck in ODI cricket, though.

Not so sure about that! Their whole game plan seemed to be based on an ODI approach to Tests, and whilst that led to success against some weak opponents, it’s not going to work against the current Indian attack.

I’d say replacing the stilted journeyman Rory Burns with the superior batsman Zac Crawley was more responsible for England’s top order improvement than any ‘Bazball’ approach, but hey, what would I know.

Just a joke about how they seem to be good at only one of the two longer formats. Their slogging approach might struggle on the turning pitches. Their spin might improve now that we're finally seeing the end of Moeen Ali (about 4 years too late tbh)

It's very quiet in here for a month with numerous Test matches.

Australian fans mostly now, and no Tests involving Australia. There’s only so much schadenfreude to be had watching England lose to India whilst protesting that they are playing the better cricket.

Oz v NZ Tests soon. Not sure at all how we’ll go; we’re very reliant on our aging bowling quartet.
