Go Co are a decent team. You will flog Norf..
The AFL are desperate to gift Carlollies a flag. So much so they get to play Norf twice.

Re: AFL 2024
My mob have had a decent start, but they haven’t played any of the better teams yet. 5 wins but only against Saints, Adelaide, Hawks, Dogs, and North. Brisbane at the Gabba will be a v stern test.

Re: AFL 2024
Meanwhile in the wake of Richmond's sorry effort v 'Harley's Heroes' (OK not yet but if they win again and the Harley boy votes any time in the next month) - on ABC I heard 2024's first utterance of a word starting with T and rhyming with 'wank'. Unsure whether the caller was making an accusation of indulging in a pointless and time-wasting activity of little moral merit, or calling for it, but in any case I hope he doesn't choke on the fumes from his membership card.
No, Carlton weren't a great deal better. Losing Adam Cerra was bad, esp with the other Adam then doing a hammy, and leaving us with Fanny Adams in the pace department - but had we replaced Cerra with another midfielder instead of a ruckman (who gave nothing in that role either) the damage might have been limited to severe rather than catastrophic.

Re: AFL 2024
Carlton tops GWS, the current Premiership favourites, and my mob continue to confound by topping Brisbane at the Gabba, in dreadful wet conditions. I’m beginning to believe in our prospects for a top 8 finish … my original belief in Adelaide (early post on this thread) has officially wavered.

My early (Round 1) prediction for the 8: Sydney GWS Brisbane Port Carlton Adelaide Suns and Collingwood … although I still hope my Cats can squeeze in there somehow.
OK, Adelaide are gone. I think the Suns are there but the Bombers may tip them out.
GWS
Collingwood
Sydney
Brisbane
Port
Carlton
Geelong (not Adelaide)
Suns (Essendon threatening)
(though not necessarily in that order)

hopefully Essendon miss the finals by 2 points because of today's drawn result.

Clarkson should be more vulnerable than Mitchell. The Roos are conceding 100 points every week and showing nothing.

Re: AFL 2024
I didn't see Mitcjhell as under the hammer even before last weekend. the Swans game was the only time they have been diabolical, they nearly pinched the Collingwood game and they pushed Geelong.
Bevo, however, is at or near FSOTB stage.
