The Coodsbeen Champions will be missing from the airwaves for the first time on 43 years this AFL season. No great surprise, as they have been running out of steam for a while, but still a sad day 
This news comes on top of Karen Tighe's retirement from ABC Grandstand yesterday, due to health issues. 
Both will be very much missed and we await (with some dread) their replacements.

Karen Tighe has had a very rough ride the past few years. Hope there are no new complications and that she continues her recovery.
