Geez, we're sh!te. Can't expect our bowlers to keep digging us out of these holes.

can we "rest" a few of the Agraders like unit, punter, Piggsy!!!, clarke (gets runs but very slowly) paris even slower and esp Roy and play some B graders - pommybasher, hodge, mcgain, nicky etc...god even give fleas a go...he can't be as sadly out of form and negative as this lot

Pretty funny that Roy has been sh!t since he was talked up as an IPL giant and then got the big bucks (even though it's only been 2 innings )

Mebee the IPL guys realised hence "only" bidding $350K for him. The younger Huss seems to be the way forward.horace wrote:m hussey increasingly resembles bevan...disturbing

7-184. What a god-awful effort. Is the wicket low and slow? I bet Jayasuriya smashes 50 in 8 overs.

Huss said it was hard work with the pitch two-paced and slow and thinks Aus can defend 184.

Right. 184 is so much undefendable than say 203?

Nath,
You're a Victorian I think. MCG is producing quite a few low scores. Is the pitch being relaid?

15 balls have been bowled and not a run is scored. And this is from SL who were so famous for their power hitting at the top in the days of Jaya and Kalu.

all the wickets are drop-ins. so we either need to go back to not using drop-in pitches, or get better drop-in pitches.

Cheers, Nath.
But why do they've to use drop in pitches? Is it because MCG is used for other sports as well?

So how much did Ambani pay for Sanath? Why did Ambani bid for him in the first place?
