50 to Bad Stodge. With Hussey gone he'll need to at least double that and probably triple it,

White leg-glances Lee for consecutive boundaries,
A wicket next ball would give Brettles a NSW season average of 249.

Hodge shoulders arms to a MacGill leg spinner from around the wicket and is bowled.

David Hussey was clearly not out!! So sad! I wanted to watch him bat before IPL.
Is Victoria's batting really this brittle?
I remember this being shown on one of the entertainment channels in TV but I'm not a big TV freak apart from watching cricket, tennis, some other sports and news!

Tis my and Nath's avatar Chandan. Homer Simpson. The Simpsons not familiar in India?

Sadly, yes. Hodge and Hussey have been the 2 standouts with White and McDonald on the next tier.

hopefully the Vics can knock a couple over before stumps. At least JGK will have something to smile about today, after his hack NRL team lost.

Hehehe, nice sledge. I too am a Dragons follower, although I haven't cared too much since your boys beat us in 99 in the GF we should never have lost.Nath wrote:At least JGK will have something to smile about today, after his hack NRL team lost.
Anywho, back to the serious matter of sticking it up the Stinky Vics. Bung took 4-7 as Viles lost 7-73. [happy dance]

Hopefully we fight this one out until the end, otherwise it's going to be a crap 2+ days.

Hmm, at 8-266 at the start of play, I certainly didn't expect the Spivs to be effectively 0-88 in the 2nd innings at the end of Day 2. But I'll take it.

Phurt @ Nath and ROTFLAO @ Hodge's dismissal.
Skully, my brother went to both games today but missed all the fun at the SCG. He managed to speak to REg Gasnier and Johnny Raper after the game and both are gutted by how rubbish the once great club has become.

Aye JGK. A farkin disgrace. I was a Nathan Brown fan when he was a player but I think we have given him more than enough chances to prove that he's a carp coach. Is Harry Bath still available???

And I can't let this oppotunity go without having a shot at Podge. I watched the post Day 2 press conferences. Bung was his normal diplomatic self but Podge came across as thick-as-two-short-planks. Maybe the guy (on his day) can bat a bit, but has there ever been an Aussie cricketer who comes across as dim-witted and slow as TAYPODGE????

Yay Trivia!
Are you just referring to test cricketers or everyone who has ever played the game in Australia, such as Billy Bob the specialist #11 batsman for the Wonglepong Wombats?

Let's say Test Cricketers, Wally. Podge comes across as such a slow-talking bogun. I'm happy to hear your views on slower (intellectually) Test Cricketers.
