Find some form with the bat last weekend, and then it pours with rain.
Two 'summers'running (raining) of utter shoite . . . the lure of 'Oz goes stronger by the day.
Totally, utterly farked off with this country and its garbage weather.

I can't believe the English whinge about the weather so much. It's probably the most temperate country in the world.

This thread made me think of that Texas song. Whatever happened to Texas? People should keep track of these things.

Well said PJ, it's a national pastime.
The 10 days or so I was in London prior to the 1st test were bloody scorchio!!!
It has to be said last summer just didn't happen & if we don't have a decent July this one may go the same way...

I seem to remember the lead singer of Texas being a bit of a milf. Did she look like she belonged in the Corrs or is my memory playing tricks?

Been an odd year. Warm May and a wet and windy June.

Here's what happened to the Texas song. Only a partial version, mind.

Re: Here comes the summer . . .
I've lost over a third of the games of cricket I was due to play to the weather this season including yesterday.
There's probably been about 3 days since mid-May when you've got up in the morning being pretty sure that you wouldn't get dumped on by a heavy shower at some point if you spent the day outside.
A tree came down two streets away from us today, and we got a thoroughly unpleasant buffeting by the wind at Trent Bridge, including blowing beer out of your pint as one tried to drink it!
Funking garbage weather.
You accept the fact that the weather is going to be changeable at times in the UK, but the last prolonged spell of pleasant, settled weather was April of last year.
Sick of it.

My upper lip is quate quate wobbling at this lack of response to my efforts to revitalize the intellectual life of this forum.

Sorry, not with you there. Well, I am, but then really not as well. It's a juxtaposition. I'm juxtaposed with u.
