490, eh? Sweet. But for two schoolboy errors I would have been out of sight. Not making Jayasuriya or Vettori my captain and asking the missus for advice prior to the Pak/India game regarding 50/50 calls might end up costing me dear, hey ho.

Btw, you'll be pleased to know wifey is making a speedy recovery and should be out of hospital by the end of the week. Not that I'm taking it seriously or owt.

Wow, how cool is that? Andy Warhol? What a visionary he was. Misen I was hoping for 6 numbers on the lottery or a pools win. But hey, a bright yellow oblong box with the words 'T20 leader' emblazoned across it has to be the next best thing. Pity it won't last.

That's it, never again. Twice now I've gobbed off about how well I was doing and both times the next day proved to be an unmitigated disaster. Against the Paks my three Sri Lankan batsmen managed a grand total of 5 between them and Jayasuriya went for a ODI world record total of 64 from his four overs. Nightmare!
