Too much honesty on this board.
Lags would've milked that for all his worth - gone into great detail about how he's a mod now and all you ratbags better shape up and respect his authority or he'll have you cyber-whacked by his bronzed sausage.
Or something...

Did anyone yet mention that India's RBW yesterday defied belief?

Whichever way the coin comes down, India will be batting first. I'll back South Africa to get home in another close one.

Yep, considering the depth SA have in all disciplines of the game. Their fielding and bowling really bear no resemblance with India's, and they bat very deep, unlike India.I'll back South Africa to get home in another close one.
Problem for India is that they rely on few individuals to win matches in any form of the game, and more often than not its their bats. Atleast 4-5 players out of XI act as passengers in any int'l match India plays.

Unless SA get absolutely mauled, they should be fine. The Kiwis' NRR is pretty poor, so India and SA shouldn't have much trouble finishing with a better NRR than the farmyard stalkers, although India is far more at risk than SA is.

Our luck has held up pretty well this tournament, and should do so until the semi-final, when things will even up and we'll probably get mauled by Australia again.

India must win to go through.
SA must not lose by a significant margin to go through, as it would push their net Run Rate below New Zealand.
For example, a couple of scenarios:
If India bat first and make 200, then South Africa would need to score at least 173 to go through.
If South Africa bat first and score 160, they would need to prevent India knocking them off in 16.3 overs or less.

India to win - the way they batted yesterday, awesome.
(want Pak and India to meet again for an unrepeat of that bowl-out)

Assuming Paksters beat the Banglers, the Injuns will not want to beat the Saffies by too much or else they'll play the Aussies in the semi.

This going to a really tough match for India. A batting display similar to yesterdays will be required.
