Only a matter of time before someone brings this up as some sort of sop for the poor treatment the Poms dished out in the colonial days, and then says that similar deals should be offered to any other country that the Poms colonised.

there is/was never nothing to learn in the west.
thus in olden days, those Indians who crossed the seas where never allowed back into the mainstream nor were they allowed to take part in rituals.
