It's a tonking contest, a tester for new audience members, PB - it's not like it means anything.
If it did, Dighton would be in the Australian side, and the best 20-20 bowlers would be the best bowlers.
Meaningless?
Australia v the mighty All Stars? Next you'll tell me the IPL is a tonkfest.
The IPL is a meaningless tonkfest. Nobody knows or cares which players play for which team, or even which teams contested the finals.
Oh Jesus. It's a joke man. This whole thread is a legpull.

To be fair, "Australia v the mighty All Stars? Next you'll tell me the IPL is a tonkfest." is fairly obvious sarcasm - even for PB.

Re: Hussey is not a Captain's
Pulling NSR always reminds me of that ancient Irish joke where the guy is sitting in a pub minding his own business when another bloke, obviously angry, approaches him.
''Oi you - are you Mickey O'Fleherty?'
He says yes, he is Mickey O'Flaherty. The other bloke raises his fist and with one punch knocks him clean off his barstool, then picks him up by the collar and is about to throw him over the bar when he notices both the guy's eyes are practically shut and his nose is all over his face and blood is pouring out, but he's laughing.
'And what the farq's so farqin funny?'
'Sucked you right in there - I'm not even Mickey O'Flaherty!'

I think they were also demanding answers when Ponting sent Pigeon in at six during that tsunami appeal match.G.Wood wrote:Ross wrote:snigger at Noid and Red questioning tactics used in a charity match.
It is a wonder they didn't bring up the Australian's holding back an lbw appeal because they realised it was Gilly

Although to be fair, that was probably a tactical decision from Ponting......

I give you one thing Woodie you're pretty sharp. Only the treble bet was true which makes you doubly insightful.

I guess that is what made picking it difficult. They all sound like something you would believe/do.

He may not have been "a captain's A", according to Gabba Para Fatsman, but Dhoni thinks he should be India's next coach.
