Wackies may still push 600 if Agha gets support from the last 2.

Nope. 556. Root grabs the last pole, so at least all the English bowlers had some reward for their efforts. Over to the batsmen now, as tired as they must be after 150 overs in that heat.

Duckett injured and hasn't opened the batting.

He got hit on the thumb, taking a catch. He hasn't gone for a scan so perhaps it isn't broken.

So England look like being down a batsman for the Test now.
Won't matter. This will be a high-scoring Draw.

Play has resumed, and England passes 100 one down.
That was a decent catch if you've not yet seen it!

So Duckett wasn't so badly hurt? He's powering along atm, with Root.

England might be near level (or ahead?) by stumps

Root has now surpassed Cook for Test runs scored.
Dravid is the next target.

Immense performance by Root and Brook. Root could barely stand by close of play due to cramp.

Congrats to Joe on his 262.
I'm happy to be corrected but I reckon this innings is the first time 5 bowlers have conceded over 100 runs.

Defo the 1st time 6 bowlers have conceded 100 runs each in the innings.

823/7 declared. But it needs to be said that pitches like this will kill test cricket as much as any amount of franchise tournaments.
Anyway, congrats to Harry Brook. I wonder if that's the quickest ever triple ton in tests?

Shan Masood hands his wicket away ever so politely. Poor bugger's brain is probably scrambled.
