Hasn't the Suburban Boy done it twice in the last week? The evidence is already mounting that he's not absolutely useless.....

As I said a few pages back, Nerky, "Warner looks something special in the short form, at this very early stage".
Let's hope early signs convert into long term prospects. He is a short@rse like Phughes. Hopefully they turn out like three other notable stumpies like AB, Boonie and Alf.

And the Tassie attack is probably better than NZs.

I think it passed a record held by DGB but not sure which match.
you clearly do pizza head...have never suggested phew is the next dgb...but have argued he should be fast tracked by the NSP

Re: ***Official 08/09 Sheffield Shield comp***
btw...thanx dello for restoring this thread to rikky status...
suspected spivs had conspired to send it 'below the salt'...a bit of form from the suburban boy, phew and a tie with the 2 heads clearly was enough for the spivs to support dragging the thread up to the oxygen layer

Horrie, you do realise that you talk the most inordinate amount of crap, don't you?
I suggest you read more, and post less, because you're losing track of context and who accuses you of various things.
Or perhaps, drink the kero instead of bathing in it.

I don't know if I'm alone here but I found it easier to remember this thread was around when it was in the main index - anything in the Rikki list which isn't an Oz Test thread I tend to pass over.

So with there being no cricket in Aus at the moment, the next domestic fixtures are Vic v WA at the MCG from Dec 15, or SA v Tas on Wednesday in the Franger cup. Is this enough cricket for an Aussie December? I think not.

WA is playing the Yarpies on Thursday at the WACA...the next fixtures are SA v WA at Adelaide from Wednesday in the Shield, or Vic v Tas on Friday in the Franger cup.

Phurt, the wozzies could play the barrels in a shield game starting wednesday and still have plenty of time for the Saffer game . . .

Re: ***Official 08/09 Sheffield Shield comp***
presumably the break was because of the Chumps Trophy...still given only the worriers and the vix were to be involved, there is no reason why other matches could not have been scheduled

Re: ***Official 08/09 Sheffield Shield comp***
i note the spivs are now holding up the ladder in the shield and are on the 2nd last rung of the stranger danger...this clearly means we can expect some more dubber selections for the Oz Team on the basis of their form ... aside from phew (who really deserves selection now), expect to see the likes of casson, bolly, hacken, reeks (who has just gone on a $400k pa contract), feathers selected soon

I say again, it sucks that there's no cricket in Aus at this time of December.
