It's time to go... Matthew Hayden
Show some grace, you big, dumb qbilly. Pull the plug now, before you get the arse. You're too old, too slow, and look too stoopid.

Flat Track Bully. I'm surprised Hayden hasn't pushed for a tour of Pakistan.

Sack the FTB. Most undeserving player to play 100 Tests ever.

So is there anyone who reckons he should play on? Besides the pommy forumers who want him to fail in the Ashes.

I think he is pushing on for one last shot at Ashes. He is probably hoping for that. Unless his body will decide it for him if he has to go sooner.

This coming from a baboon who lacks an iota of common sense that even the most retarded chimp possess? Right!
Yeah it is obvious he should retire but every sposrtsman hopes for one last achievement before retiring. Even Warne and Pigeon wanted one against England. Warne postponed retirement a whole year after losing the urn in 2005. Kumble and Ganguly wanted one last shot at Aus, S. Waugh wanted one against India. Nothing wrong if Hayden wants one as well. I am certain he knows he is running out of time and given the Aus traditions I am certain he won't hang around too much if he feels he won't push it further. The results in India have revealed two things that a lot of the success that Aus had over the years was because they had great bowlers and because also the openers Hayden and Langar set the matches up for them while batting and very rarely was the middle order exposed early or brought under pressure.
Hayden has done a commendable service for Aus and whether or not he is allowed to play in the near future or whether he quits or not soon enough, I don't think he deserves so much crap from his own people. He may be a qunt as a person, but he has still been one helluva player for Aus.

Except that his game's gone to shit for the best part of a year now. He's already used up plenty of tickets in his career. The team is already teetering on the edge, and it's a TEAM sport, not an INDIVIDUAL thing. He should give up gracefully before his poor INDIVIDUAL performances have even more impact on the TEAM's performance.

I agree with that Zat. We have the same issues with Dravid and also had that with Kumble last year. I just don't find his intentions wrong and also that I had an issue with the way Zimmy replied to my post. Nothing more to it.
I did say during the last Aus test series in India if it was Billy's time to quit and if the India series should be the last for him?
That said I wonder how captain Drunky is dealing with the fact that he is the only 'Successful' Aus Captain in the last 2 decades to never have a won a test in India.......

Suppose Hayden quits, does Aus have a decent replacement in the ranks? Katich just about makes up to a certain extent in his approach for Langar. The other replacement tried at Perth in Hayden's place against India at the start of the year wasn't too good.

Hattie , Floozy , Bog , GDWVT ....all capable of scoring 12 as well as Hayden is now
or Paris could open and Nicky could come into the middle order

Rogers, Jaques, Even Hughes, I'd take any of them. Or let M Hussey open and put D Hussey in the middle order.

For all those who want the FTB out...
Buy a Haydo lookalike doll, hot wax and several pins.
Pour copious amounts of wax on doll and stick pins into kneecaps, ankles, shoulders and arse.
Leave to set for a week.
Await 'retirement' announcement (complete with tears) followed by the extended 'holiday to recharge the batteries'.
I took away a huge positive from the results .... trust me!
But wait, I'm probably going to have to buy yet another doll soon .....
Cock!
