I finished work for the year yesterday. For the next 2 weeks i'm going to do the proper thing and get absolutely shit faced.

I'm off after today until 7th Jan as I have been forced to take some of my 36 Days holidays and 6 Days Flexi left. So I'm gonna be well bored going in to the new year.

Yup - had some holiday saved up as well, but they looked at Christmas, the annual leave, paternity, and said . . . meh, see you in the New Year.

Already on holidays. Heading off for Chrissy lunch with the Outlaws very shortly and then heading up the coast for 2 glorious weeks of .... well .... watching cricket. 
Might even get some swimming at the beach and parties with friends and rellies.

Enjoy it, fella - but spare a thought for us poor souls shivering our rocks off here in Blighty.
(Although it has been quite mild here the last few days - was very pleasant out today in a shirt and light jacket.)

Just sitting twiddling my thumbs, waiting for the Chief's roast spuds and pumpkins to finish cooking (her contribution to the Xmas spread) so we can head off for a big Chrtmas lunch. Yummy.
