Well, for once, the year has started and seems different to that start of last year.

My favourite text said, "To all my friends who sent me good wishes for 2008, it did fĂșck all. So for 2009 could you please send either money or vouchers, (not Woolworths.)"

Haven't the pics of dead people in the morgue and cancerous lungs they put on the packs put you off at all?Clamson wrote:JB wrote:I have 11 New Years resolutions. Is that too many, do you think?
I have never made a new years resolution and I'm not about to start now. I'm not planning to give up smoking this year, so I'm not going to try.

Re: Official HAPPY NEW YEAR 2009 (not the recycled 2008 version)
Our new year started with a humongous series of lightning flashes and thunderbolts that knocked out a million lights, welded half the neighbourhood into their security fence-enclosed yards, and had me fleeing from the toilet, gibbering with fear and for some reason thinking of Elvis. I don't know what sort of new year this is supposed to herald. :silent:

Not really no. I fell out with my lungs some time ago after a minor bicycle crash, and we haven't patched things up yet. I'm taking my revenge for a few years. Besides, they won't speak to me any more.
I enjoy smoking, so I'm not giving it up yet. Maybe when I have a child (so probably never).
