I would play Bracken over Clark for that reason.

yeah, yuvraj seems to have the measure of clark atm. but it would be harsh to drop him imo. why not drop hopes? aussie batting in form anyway, dont really need him

Hogg at 7? That tail would be too long. Hopes gives a bit of balance.

hogg and lee can both bat a bit. as i said the aussie top 6 is in great form right now

They won't drop Hopes. The selectors don't work that way.

Bowler for bowler batsman for batsman usually and they love their allrounder.

Clark could well play but Bracken is a chance.

Hopefully Hilfenhaus will get a game towards the end of the series, otherwise they should send him home to play for Tassie. May as well send Hodge home now to play for the Vics.

Yes and Yes on both points. Haddin has to come in for Hodge....surely....but then the Oz selectors are not known for their logic.

As for Aussies, Bracken has replaced Clark, which makes their bowling gets all the more potent.

Isn't it full strength Australian ODI XI, apart from obviously Hussey coming in for Hodge and maybe Watson coming in for Hopes, though Watson hardly seems to be playing a game atm due to fitness issues.

Yep, with Bracken coming in and on a ground which still has early morning dew and heavy outfield due to wet patches, it does appear like that.

India haven't beaten Aussies since 18-Jan-04, when they defeated them at Gabba in VB series. So its been 46 months since India last won against Aussies.
