Dubai - The upcoming Test series between South Africa and Australia which begins in Johannesburg on February 26 will be refereed by Jeff Crowe and this three-match series will see a continuation of the trial of the umpire decision review system, which has been put to the test during series' between Sri Lanka and India and New Zealand and the West Indies, as well as the current clash between the West Indies and England.
Billy Bowden and Steve Bucknor will stand in the first Test in Johannesburg with another elite panelist, Asad Rauf, assuming the role of television umpire.
Bucknor and Rauf will swap their roles for the second Test to be staged in Durban while those two will come together as on-field umpires with Bowden as television umpire for the third Test to be played in Cape Town from March 19.

I suppose that's why they need the review system.

Well, he'll probably just get on with his job and not have a farkin massive sook (unlike you subis) . . . .

Blind Bucky is just what the doctor order for the ill and damaged Aussie side. There is some hope for them. They can be assured that a lot of the dodgy ones will go their way and SA will be stuffed in due to it, at a critical phase.

So with Bucknor as the Onfield umpire and Bowden as the 3rd ump, there will no doubt be confusion over a plumb LBW shout or something.


Thankfully Harper is Australian. Imagine those 3 in one match.

The guy must be causing the ICC a belly-ache by now. No income from sub-continental matches, no riches from the IPL. His only source of income left are the Aussie matches. Come on guys, don't be so hard on him, a man needs to feed his family.
