Brett Lee...surely his file has been stamped...
Seen surprisingly few media stories about him...has he realised he's now so washed up he has to make a living doing shit Indian movies?

Hard to argue. He ain't gonna displace Midge, Cot, Milf or the fitness-improving Gump. So unless he perfects leg spin in the next couple of months, it might be all she wrote.

Nice one sheethead. There he is a long forgotten bad memory and you put him back on the radar.

There's only room for one Brett in the Australian XI.

He might have a future in the music business.
Then again ... maybe not.

In a career spanning ten years, he only managed to average under 30 in three calendar years, and two of them where his first two years in international cricket.

Re: Brett Lee...surely his file has been stamped...
The problem with with Brett Lee is that there are two of him.
Brett Lee number one is a space marine from the year 5000 with a supersonic machine gun.
Brett Lee number two is Benny Hill with a water pistol.
Unfortunately, you know which one will actually turn up to play.

Fitness permitting, Brett Lee will play in the Ashes this year.
Remember he's still a certainty to return to the one-day side and even though it's a different game it will put him on the radar.

Lee is still better than Hilfenhaus, who bowled rubbish for the most part in Durban.

Lee is past his prime. Well past his prime. And becoming injury-prone. The two Tests in South Africa have shown that players looking to establish themselves/keep their places in the side perform better than show-ponies who seem to think they're automatic inclusions.
Also, much as it pains me to say it, but the Drunk seems to be captaining better with blokes who've come into the side subsequent to histaking the top job than the incumbent players when he started. Maybe he can't make the transition from 'mate' to 'boss'.
Of course, there's still the chance he'll revert to type in England and captain by rote again. 'We'll have a bowl, thanks.'

Injury to any of the incumbents or the big subi will be the only way into Tests matches for Lee.

It's been mentioned that drunky seems to have improved with the new faces, but if he had to fark up the transition from mate to boss so badly there's a line of thought that says he should never have been boss in the first place.
Border dealt with the problem, Taylor didn't have to deal with the problem and Waugh just coasted (badly at times).
We're just going to have to hope drunky just keeps stumbling along.

Still our best bowler at the World Cup, which is probably why we didn't get past the Quarters.

Yes, the whole campaign was a bit Mardi Gras. Weak.
When's the next Test series start?
