Decided to take the train to the Cape, and went onto their website. No schedules, no fares, no booking facilities - but an interesting choice of photograph to illustrate the site... (Scroll down to "Happenings". The top entry also gives food for thought...)

Someone told me this weekend that the service was taken over by an opposition company, but the original people continue to maintain the website...

Another funny one - but at least they had the sense to stick the instructions inside the package... My sister bought an expensive "liver cleansing course" and read the instructions to me while I was driving her home from the health shop. I nearly crashed the car, but I'm not sure what was funniest: the instructions or her gasps of horror...

It more or less boils down to:

Take a hefty dose of Epsom salts at six in the evening. Take another dose two hours later, followed by a cup of olive oil shaken up with some grapefruit juice and other stuff. Take two of the included sleeping tablets and go to bed. The next morning [this is where I nearly crashed] crap into a colander to ensure a close-up of all the "stones and other debris" released by your body. Repeat several times during the day.

I just wonder how sure they are the "stones and debris" will only be released after the sleeping tablets had worn off - and I also swear never, ever to eat at the house of anyone who had done the treatment...
