The London 2012 Olympic Logo
I know it was revealed a while ago now, but it really is the worst logo I have ever seen. Who can honestly say that the first thing you see when you look at it isn't Lisa Simpson giving someone a blowjob?

I thought it was nice of them to plaster the Olympic rings across a stylised Australia.

Re: The London 2012 Olympic Logo
You'd think that there would have been someone, somewhere inside the Olympic movement who would have stepped in and vetoed this disaster of a logo.
People actually thought this piece of garbage was a good idea.
It beggars belief.

Re: The London 2012 Olympic Logo
I would have thought the best logo for the english would have been of a fat darts player - the world recognises that this is the one sport in which the English are clearly world champs

not trolling jkl..irrespective of what current records are held - I think the image the world has of english sporting prowess is that darts player.
'
I really appreciate the unlikely image of a fat bloke with a pint in one hand and dart in the other nicotine stained hand as I expect most of the world does.

Re: The London 2012 Olympic Logo
And was the Lisa blowjob discussed on the old board or this one? I could've sworn it was in the early days of FB v2 but I can't find the thread.
From memory Trev chucked his well-made repeated point in on an unrelated thread. Cos I can't find a London Olympics thread on here other than this one.

You're the one making a deal of it. There's other threads you know. Some in desperate need of more posts...
