Olympics 2012 Empty Olympics 2012

Post by Big Dog Thu 12 Apr 2012, 08:57

Is it too early to have an Olympic Rikki?...I don't think so. Things (good and bad) should start happening about now.
I notice some of those tiresome occupy protesters have been removed from one of the sites. Also the Sex Pistols have turned down an official gig. Obviously afraid that no one will remember them. Wink

Post by LeFromage Thu 12 Apr 2012, 09:08

I'm in denial about the Olympics. Still hoping we'll get reprieved somehow and they won't have to take place on this grim and decaying island in the summer rain/hail/snow.

At least one stadium/venue/facility will fall down or get blown up by jihadists.

They're going to be a national embarrassment.

I'll be over here, hiding under a blanket until it all blows over.

Bit far from London.

The sailing will take place down here. That's sure to draw in the crowds...

The Olympics? They've been ruined. Apparently the volleyball birds don't have to wear skimpy outfits anymore.

Well, think about it, it's always a bit 'choppy' here... there were bound to be glass-cutting ning-nongs all over the shop.

Urban dictionary hath not my definition. Ning-nongs are erect nipples. Glass-cutters are of the ultra-hard variety.

Where the trees go Ping!
And the tea pots jibber jabber joo.
On the Nong Ning Nang
All the mice go Clang
And you just can't catch 'em when they do!
So its Ning Nang Nong
Cows go Bong!
Nong Nang Ning
Trees go ping

I applied on the first round and like many others got ......... not a single ticket.

Whereas tons of corporate passes on offer. And apparently tickets flapping around on European websites.

I don't mind the Dwayne thing if he has more clothes on than a skimpy bikini. I feel bad for any of the volleyball players, particularly those from countries where it's hot and nice to play volleyball outside.

I didn't apply for anything as I was too appalled by the prices to do so, and then I left the UK in disgust anyway, so I will be watching it a little bit as and when I can. I vaguely know a couple of the rowers, so I'll prob be interested in that, along with the hockey and the athletics. But mainly the equestrian stuff. I like to see horses winning medals.
