Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Given nobody really plays much of it domestically any more and bilateral JAMODI series are no longer ten a penny and tend to attract shadow squads, hard to see how teams develop in it really.skully wrote:Geez, what a shit effort this series by Aus. A close win followed by 2 snottings.
Aus and Eng are struggling at this form of the game.

fixed
an almost totally meaningless contest … its only utility being in the confirmation of McGurk’s unreadiness for anything above grade cricket. He has a FC average of 18, FFS.

Afghanistan have beaten Bangladesh in an ODI.
Pretty decent side now. I think they’d trouble us (again).

6th in the last 50-over World Cup and semi-finalists in the T20 version. Remarkable how they’ve kept progressing despite the political climate (fully expected them to be banned once the Taliban returned, and their best players picked off by other countries via residency qualification).lardbucket wrote:Afghanistan have beaten Bangladesh in an ODI.

The only good thing about the Taliban - they clearly like cricket.

Re: Current International One Day Cricket
Talkback Radio button pressing seems to be around Pat posting a picture of him and his wife at Coldplay while the Aussie team of the day was getting smashed
I think the caller of the day was the bloke that said he had serious doubts about Pat because he was admitting he liked 'one of the most over rated bands in the world'
