Which form of Cricket really matters to you?
Which format would you prefer to succeed at?
If you (your team/nation) would like to be good at just one form of the game, which one would it be?

I didn't include BanIndia, Beach Cricket or the Hong Kong Sixes, because sometimes, its not worth stating the obvious.

Well duh...
Isn't this a bit like asking who you would rather get jiggy with - Katherine Jenkins or Anne Widdicombe.

posting this on a cricket forum is a bit pointless. only hard-core cricket fans would post on here anyways

Bucky might vote ODIs or 20/20 just to piss everyone off but no one in their right mind is going to choose anything other than test cricket.

Ash or PP might vote for T20. The One is just being awkward.

I know, but it would give those feeble beings at the ECB something to read if they ever decided to look at this forum. They might understand which format should get the most investment. As if History itself hasn't already defined that...

Re: Which format would you prefer to succeed at?
Test cricket is obviously the most important, but every team's aim has to be to become the best in the world at all three, and not to neglect any of them as long as they are played at international level.
If you produce good quality, mentally tough, adaptable cricketers then it shouldn't be a problem transferring their skills to whatever format they are asked to play.

Having never seen England meaningfully succeed at JAMODI cricket I'm not sure what 50 over success is like. Does it as feel cheap, whorey and meaningless as it looks?

It's a bit like the days when homosexuality was illegal - you knew it went on, you really liked it, but didn't want to let on for fear of persecution.
Zat and Zim need to come out of the closet.

This place is inhabited by cricket connoisseurs, fans and tragics. As such we will overwhelmingly vote for the classic form of the game.
Unfortch we are grossly outnumbered by mindless Gen X and Yers who have the attention span of a dead maa-ki.
Long Live Test Cricket (although Modi wants to doom it).
