Yep. Though quite often you see it the other way around, where the keeper breaks the stumps and then sees a foot go in the air. Give yourself a chance and sometimes you're lucky, sometimes you're not. It's why you see keepers take the bails when the foot is behind the crease sometimes - just in case.

Yep, more like a stunning innings - he's certainly capable of that is Razzaq.

Unlucky. They were the only team playing the game.

Shahzad not too bad (from the highlights I saw). Consistently 85+mph. Which isn't earth-shattering, but given how many trundlers county cricket churns out, it's something to work with.

A return, no doubt, to the good times where we used to play two keepers in the same XI at the expense of a bowling option/specialist batsman. Good, progressive times.

We had bowlers such as Snow, Underwood, Willis and Botham then. If only we had one bowler of that class today.

I was thinking more of the Geraint Jones/Matt Prior in the same ODI XI debacle under Fletcher.
Neither could score runs, Prior was a liability in the outfield without the gloves - genius, it was.

he did well but needs to get in better shape...
One thing that these fast bowlers need to learn is that there is NO replacement for a FAST yorker , they keep trying these clever little slower balls which work sometimes but when the batsman is set and in good form it is way too risky.

Trott makes no sense of me - you can't waste any time in a 20/20 and esp not the first 6 overs. Decent test& ODI batsman he might become but I haven't seen much to suggest he's got the range or power of shot to cause carnage in a 20/20. Luke Wright seems like a better option to persist with- sure he'll fail more often than not but his s/r is top notch.
Not quite sure what Denly's capable of if anything. Trott's too orthodox and good at self preservation for the job though.

Trott is just struggling for any sort of confidence.
On a bad trot, you could say.
