Afghanistan knocking out South Africa today ...
What are the chances of Afghanistan knocking South Africa out of this T20 WC today ?
Considering that it's a 'World Cup' and SAfrica cannot lose this one to go further (making it a 'pressure' match), I'd give a 25% chance to Afghanistan to beat SA.

There's more chance that Merlin will use an Actual Fact to support his point of view in an argument than the Afghanis have of beating Jaapan

doubt it. will be hilarious though, but not as much as them losing in the semis when they need 20 to win with 3 overs and 7 wickets in hand

I'd love to see it, but short of JGK whacking a lobster or a pineapple of the Jaapanese, it's more than a very remote chance.

Remember there is rain around and they have proven to be mathematically challenged before reading D/L sheets.

Would require the Afghans to bat first, scrap up 120 or so and the Saffies open the batting with Jackie, with the rains to come after the wide boy has crabbed to 10 off 5 overs.

Cheap pricks at tab sportsbet have Afghanistan at 12/1 to win against Jaapan, with tha SAffies 100-1 on.

Any AFL goal umpires slap a lazy lobster on the Afghans? They're pretty stoopid.Zat wrote:Cheap pricks at tab sportsbet have Afghanistan at 12/1 to win against Jaapan, with tha SAffies 100-1 on.

I'd prefer JGK to back the Yarps.

And on the subject of AFL goal umpires, I actually worked with a bloke who was an AFL goal ump a few years back.
One of the few people I've had to give the sack to.

He's too busy working hard to make back the 6 figures he's lost on mining stocks since Krudd's tax reform.Zat wrote:I'd prefer JGK to back the Yarps.

If Rudd was smart, he would have gone the banks instead of the mining companies. Not even the mad monk would have been able to put shit on that. Westpac's 6-month profit was 3 billion.

Jackie doesn't crab against minnows. He only does that against the big boys.
Who holds the record for the fastest fifty in a test match (by balls faced) & who was it scored against?

It's a long and arduous process to sack anyone in my organisation. You basically have to catch them bonking the MD's daughter - 3 times - at work - while loudly proclaiming what a qunt the MD is - to have any chance.

This bloke went through three written warnings, and still didn't see what he was doing wrong.

Kallis did against the Zimbots from memory.
Rudd won't supertax the banks because they'd pass it on to the customer and that would cost him even more votes.

Would it not be easier for the Afghans to bowl first and then if they would know what to chase if there is a curtailed DL affected second innings. Something silly like 40 off 5 overs.

The Afghanis are bowling. And despite getting Bosman for a globe, they've so far been spanked for 10 an over.
