Sewer-Lee-ee cost the Blues any chance when he snotted Walsh. Lomax is as shit as his NRL side.
With one man down the Blues are no chance against the speedy Maroon backs. The Hammer might get 5 tonight.

Re: State of Origin Thread
Decent start by QLD. marred by some Gallen-era thuggery.

Tedesco was at least a metre in front of the kicker for NSW's first try. It should never have been allowed.

One of several adjudication ‘errors’ that narrowed the margin.

Moses in at 7 for the Blues, replacing the disappointing Hynes. Dylan Edwards comes in for Teddy (who didn't have a bad game in SoO1).
The in-form Latrell Mitchell also comes in for the suspended Sewer-Lee-ee.

Re: State of Origin Thread
Quite a few future superstars of the game on display tonight in the SoO u-19 women's and men's games at Leichhart Oval (which is actually a rectangle!!).
The lady Blues smacked Qld 46-4, while the Blues boys were dominant but struggled to overcome the Qld tenacity in defence. In the end they got up 14-10. Of the gujys, the two halves look clear future stars, as well as both fullbacks and 5/8s. And some of the South Pacific Islander forwards look very strong.

Re: State of Origin Thread
The Blues executed THE perfect 1st Half of Football. 70% possession, 20 of 22 completed sets and a record score in a half of Origin Footy.
Some silly play in the 2nd Half allowed Qld to get penalties and some forward momentum. I'm sure Madge will work on that.
All the Blues did their job, but Mitch Moses, Angus Crichton and Dylan Edwards stood out. Latrell and Steve Crichton in the centres were imposing and both wingers had great games.
And well done to the Mexicans. 90,000 of them showed up to watch what a lot of them think is a girl's game.
