That was long overdue. But there are still lazy 'stars' left in the team who've taken their spots for granted.

Gambhir is a walking wicket for quite some time now, Zaheer/Nehra haven't delivered in ages, and I never had any confidence in the FTB. And Jadeja is Jadeja, never had an iota of talent. Just because you're praised by none other than Warne doesn't mean you'll make it count at int'l level.

I don't know why SG and some other Indians don't like Gambhir, he has almost all the qualities that you need in a batsman.

I didn't say I don't like him. I just said his form of late has been very ordinary.

Would you like the next Gen of players to do well or prefer them fail so that the fans of the gone by era / heroes can keep glorifying them as irreplacable ? give us an honest answer.

Expect Josh to utter those pearls every now and then especially since Tendulkar is not playing, thankfully for him. Its clear that only hero he is talking about is Tendulkar as BCCI just won't pick Dravid and Ganguly has retired long back. They were the only worthwhile bygone 'heroes' to be talked about. Some people have just a single point agenda.

And what next gen players you're talking about?

Unfortunately, this Dambulla track (especially under lights) looks like win the toss and win the game type track.

I hope I'm proved wrong but first game clearly showed us why its such a good toss to win on this track.

Even Malinga has admitted this.

BD have won the toss and expectedly they're batting first.

Batting doesn't inspire much confidence. Its a joke to play Jadeja in matches after matches.

Tamim gawn, shame.... looks in such good touch.

Rollicking start for BD which was expected. Who won't have against such an 'attack'?

Pisspoor bowling from Zaheer. He has been really really poor in ODIs.

As for Praveen, he isn't good enough to play int'l cricket.

It won't do them any good if they're so reliant on Tamim. Just like Indian team of '90s.

Anything over 220, and we'll definitely struggle.
