Lara is light years ahead of the Mumbai dwarf.
Elegant, powerful, wristy, astute and a clear understanding of the status of a game, BCL stands on an even higher pedestal than the whinger Don Bradman.

PS - Lara has an absolute tolerance of Roman Catholics as well ... unlike someone else I could mention.

Nah mate - hardly any sun across here this afternoon - cloudy and humid tough.

My oversight though - how could I ever forget Jack Hobbs - the greatest ever batsman.
But ... I'd have to put Lara second to Hobbs..... a difference of opinion we'd have to agree to disagree on.

I'd put Tenders 3rd, then daylight, with Bradman 4th only just squeaking Pelham Warner into 5th ... but only just.
