Re: Arthur: Ntini betrayed me!
Eowyn,
Pakistan team of the 90s use to consistently engineer such collapses, i remember once SL only needed 23 to win with 8 wickets in hand and yet failed to do so.
Once SA themselves lost 9 wickets for 27 runs against PAK while chasing in an ODI at Sharjah.

Re: Arthur: Ntini betrayed me!
Right, well for the record I am being serious. I don't think suspecting Pakistan of match fixing is entirely unreasonable after what has been happening recently. I'm not saying they definately were, but I certainly don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility.PlanetPakistan wrote:vilkrang wrote:Right, well seeing as you have failed to explain why and keep avoiding the question that taips posted again in his last post, I'm going to assume that I'm actually not missing anything.
That's because Taipan(in particular) has NOT proven to me that he actually means what he writes. The tone of his posts suggest that he is being dramatically sinister(an unfortunate trait of the human race ESPECIALLY common in the middle aged women of subcontinent) and is looking for nothing more than cheap entertainment by attempting to tempt me in to giving specific reasoning as to why Arthur's statements are so thickheaded. So for me to explain to him something which he and almost every adult should know will be an insult to mine and his intelligence.
In your case i can't say for certain if you are serious or not but i am just going to assume that you are NOT.

Were Gibbs, Cronje and Williams playing by any chance?

Fair enough, you knot trying to chase me out of the place would be like Red not posting a negative article about Smiffy

Whatever the rights and wrongs of Ntini's eventual departure from the SA team, it was painfully obvious that for the last twelve months or so of his international career, that he was running on empty.

Cronje was NOT playing
Ironically Gibbs carried the bat...

Then every batting or bowling collapse(like the 2nd ODI of the current series) of a team whose players have been caught (or even suspected) in match or spot fixing is suspicious.
Hope you understand now.....

Exactly. I've lost a lot of faith in cricket recently.PlanetPakistan wrote:vilkrang wrote:]Right, well for the record I am being serious.
