there's not much you can do with nuclear blackmail and a country that publicly says nuclear weapons will be a first strike weapon in case of war. its not worth the risk, you just learn to live with it

Well there are things that can be done. As was said, North Korea knows that firing one of their nukes at south Korea or Japan will result in them being wiped off the face of the Earth.

and that worries kim how? if SK starts a full-fledged war and enters any part of NK territory you can bet his finger will be near the big red button

you do realise they indulge in these theatrics because they know the other side cant retaliate. they are constantly figuring out how far they can push the southerners

frankly the world missed this bus a long time ago, as with most dictators. china's image is going to take a real beating if NK takes it any further. it could well push forward the new 'ring of steel' to contain china

may or may not be containable. but its policy of nuclear proliferation in asia will only encourage the rest of asia to pool their resources in countering its rise. its already happening anyways

Just thank fark NK is a "planned" economy. The missiles probably won't work or the landline from the Kim bunker to the silos was eaten by rats years ago.

Given that Seoul is roughly 40km from the border with NK, it wouldn't take long for the North to wipe the city off the map. Of course, retaliation wouldn't be much fun for the North, but it's not like the place is boom-town at the moment, or likely to be in the next decade or two.

So crazy Kim is gonna nuke Seoul and then head for the bunker as the retaliatory nukes come raining done on NK?

I doubt it. But really, who knows?

Problem is though, having seen Team America, it's difficult to take North Korea and their Dear Leader seriously any more.....
