Well a straight break is a bloody good ball when every other delivery is turning square.
Aye, never the fault of drunky,

Ronnie the Ranga is still injured as far as I can remember.
North's spot is there for whoever can show an ounce of form in the meantime. Fergie, White, Quodger, Dave Hussey, Marsh, they all come into the mix. And seeing as big bro Hussey practically opened the innings on Friday and did OK, and has about 30 first class centuries as an opener, he'd be the boy to replace Kat if they don't pick another opener - which opens up another middle-order spot..

Like I said, Ponting may decide to take on the responsibility himself and open at Perth. He hasn't got much to lose....

Adelaide forecast for tomorrow:
Tuesday: Cloudy with a shower or two during the morning increasing to showers and the chance of a thunderstorm during the afternoon. Warm with light to moderate NE/N winds and a light to moderate SW afternoon sea breeze.
So it'll be sunny all day then.

Michael Clarke- "Just want to apologise for not walking off the ground tonight when I hit the ball. I was just so disappointed, my emotions got best of me."
Fair play.

The Cricinfo coverage said he took a step towards the pavilion but no finger came up so he stood his ground. England then referred it.
But well done for heading of any controversy by apologising.

Hmm, with the weather looking bad it's looking like a draw I think.

Aye, the KP wicket gives a bit of hope as I don't fancy the Aussie tail in this match. But looks like it might have to be done and dusted inside 40 overs for England to have any chance....
Captain conservative could pay for that decision to bat on.

The new ball is due first up tomorrow. I'd bowl Swanny to North with the new ball. Jimmy to hopefully find some swing from the other end. Doubt it will happen, though. (Swann opening)

Here is the full Clarke quote, including the bit he only said in his head:
As you say though, fair play to him for apologising at all.
Michael Clarke- "Just want to apologise for not walking off the ground tonight when I hit the ball. I was just so disappointed, my emotions got best of me, leading me to abandon my principles and hope that by some miracle England wouldn't refer the decision thereby letting me get away with it in a rather dishonest but potentially match saving way"
As you say though, fair play to him for apologising at all.
