He'll miss the final test, the ODI series v England, and also the World Cup.

At 31 and with his history of injury you'd have to say it's unlikely he'll play for Australia again seeing as they will be very much looking to the future after this series is over. Looked like a very good performer, and has been consistently Australia's best bowler in this series.

Unlucky for Rolf, but now prehaps will force the hand of the selectors and look towards the youth to build on the future for Aus.

That's sad news - he could bowl at a decent pace and would run in all day if asked. It'll be tough to resurrect his international career.
