hahaha....
well it is clear they might find it hard to find some honest sports administrators - it seems that most of the senior Bannie Commy Games administrators are in gaol on corruption charges

Duncan Felcher - Injun coach
Bit of a turn up isn't it?
He's a good coach but Indian fans can expect to see some underperforming nonentity continually picked because he's his favourite.

Cheers Bigcheese? CHEERS BIGCHEESE? Are you kidding me? He's made us look like massive f*ckwits and I, for one, don't need any help in this regard. The bloke's a f*cking tosser.
Re: India appoint Feltch
Should be a laugh seeing how the best players of spin in the world react to being told that they're doing it all wrong and should be trying to sweep everything.
Re: India appoint Feltch
Didn't the last dreary Pom (yes, yes, Feltch is a Zimmer, I know but he drearies along with the best Engulund has to offer) that took on a subi team meet an unfortunate demise?

Re: India appoint Feltch
weird selection. wonder if like the last 3 coaches the team pushed this one through as well. he had a good couple of years with england, but also ended it very badly

Re: India appoint Feltch
Would be surprising if the senior players haven't had some input into the appointment. But then, this is the BCCI...
Two half decent pacers to partner Zak, a decent spinner and keeping the middle order FTB free (as much as possible).

supposedly srt, dhoni and sehwag (wtf?) were the ones who recommended fletcher
the last 4 coaches have all been appointed on the advice of the seniors. it's not like the bcci officials know anything about cricket. 2 were brilliant, one was a disaster. let's hope fletcher joins the former

Re: India appoint Feltch
I've gotta say i'm a bit surprised with this appointment. I think the job of India Coach is better suited to a younger man who wont be worn down by the relentless schedule of the Indian team. Fletcher is 62 years old and may find it tough.
Any news on who Feltch will appoint as his assistants? He might be keen to get Troy Cooley on board, and i'd imagine he'll bring in someone like Trevor Penney as the fielding Coach.

Erm, he has a hard act to follow, after the outstanding success of Gary Kirsten. Bannie fans have a track record of being rabid loonies. You join the dots.furriner wrote:skully wrote:Didn't the last dreary Pom (yes, yes, Feltch is a Zimmer, I know but he drearies along with the best Engulund has to offer) that took on a subi team meet an unfortunate demise?
