Aye. Ridiculous. We've gone from Cap'n Positive to Cap'n Negative. Maybe we could've used both of their help in rep wars!

Well it's just the Strauss way, isn't it- Play for the draw, and take the win if it comes.

Aye. We could be 0-0 going into the 3rd Test if it wasn't for some amazing bowling and crapitulation.
Swann's getting smashed, so now he's set the defensive precedent we may as well sit in until the new ball!

Phurt, if merlin was posting now, he'd be saying it's a brilliant pitch well done the boys at HQ.

the lankans will probably never forgive themselves for cardiff. they could well have been left with a one match shoot-out for winning the series in the next test
and just as i type that the new ball accounts for sanga. never looked comfortable so far in this series

And to look on the bright side, Trott's been fairly economical so far.

I'd rather watch some of the shittest bowling this side of Bangladesh occur than subject myself to such a sport...

That's more like it from Finn. Tilly Dilly deserved the 200 but struggled to get going again after the thumb injury. Still highest score by a Sri Lankan at Lord's, beating the 190 of Wettimuny on their first ever visit here.

And a better knock too - Wettimuny's took ten hours.

For f*ck's sake, why do they even have Tests at Lord's? Sh*t pitch, sh*t fans, sh*t weather, sh*t cricket, sh*t city, sh*t everything.
