Norman Malcolm is a really poor umpire and should never umpire again. I say this every year but every year the WICB insist on putting him on as one of the local umpires. I shudder to think of the implications if he is truly one of the best we have.

The batshit crazy thing is that India probably wouldn't have lost that famous test against Aus a couple of years back had it been in use at the time.

Yet they are the staunchest opponents of it. I get the feeling that even if they got a dodgy decision for their 10th wicket when needing 2 runs to win the 4th test against England to win the series 2-1 that they would still oppose it.

If he can win us this game, I may start taking Yuvraj Singh 2.0 seriously again.
