Sri Lanka v Australia, 1st ODI, Pallekele, August 10, 2011
The first ODI is due to start in about 50 minutes but i had a look at our line up & i would'nt even bother posting a Rikki for it.
When you see Smith,M Hussey, Haddin, Johnson & Bollinger you know we are farked.

I this separated from the tour main thread so the discussion may be found in the future.)

Dart board selection again. But then again, it's pretty hard to pick a decent XI from the carp that Hildick sent over.

The good news is there bowling a lot of dot balls at the mo. The bad news is the ones that aren't dot balls are going to the boundary.

Johnson picks one up in his first over. SL 3/81 off 15.
Re: Sri Lanka v Australia, 1st ODI, Pallekele, August 10, 2011
Stuff me. Looks like Johnson has actually bought his 'A' game along tonight.
2/3 off 2 overs.
2/3 off 2 overs.

Lordy, is Smiffy's Pommy boyfriend texting Cricinfo??
David: "I think Steve Smith has been dealt a harsh card here. He is a quality player who needs opportunity. I'm a Worcestershire fan and as 1 of our overseas men last year in the T20 tournament he was stunning. Electric in the field, bowled useful overs and batted at 4 and rarely failed. Aus aren't brave enough to get him up the order though. Yes he needs development, but no-one else has performed for Aus recently except Watto. get off his case."

Lankans in trouble.
Why aren't these games being stikkied? Not as if it's a T20 buffet.

Aye. Wouldn't it be grouse if THIS Midge showed up at least every 4th or 5th innings instead of every 20th innings.
