Australia has already done enough to retain the #1 ODI ranking, regardless of the result of the matches left in this series.

This should guarantee they'll fold like a cheap hooker with sores on her lips in both remaining games.

Playing in Colombo, the spinners will have more of an influence. I'm sitting on the fence for this one. Could go either way.

Well. I haven't analysed it too much, but Aus are a good team still. They just need to get rid of free-loaders like Smith and they'll be right as rain.

Why is it that if a fielder gets hit on the helmet, and the ball is then caught, it's a dead ball and not out, yet if a batsman gets hit on the helmet and the ball goes to the boundary it's four?

Great work by the Aussies.

You can immediately see how things might have gone without 5 years of concrete skulls.

Though Hilditch and Nielsen probably claim this as vindickation.

That's a pretty damn fine effort by the lads. D'Oh was outstanding and the rest of the bowlers were disciplined.

Post-Argus we might just stick with D'Oh and give him a go. His line, length and variation was very good.

Good effort by Lee & Doherty. SL all out 132 in 38 overs. Their decision to leave out a batsman has backfired spectacularly.
