A fired up Aus to come out and celebrate the overhaul of Aus Cricket that isn't?

Australia has already done enough to retain the #1 ODI ranking, regardless of the result of the matches left in this series.
This should guarantee they'll fold like a cheap hooker with sores on her lips in both remaining games.

Playing in Colombo, the spinners will have more of an influence. I'm sitting on the fence for this one. Could go either way.

Midge has reverted to his true form, the Lankans play our spinners with their c0cks, and our batsmen have lost interest after reading the CA Review.

I thought half the team would be dejected. Their free ride is over.

Well. I haven't analysed it too much, but Aus are a good team still. They just need to get rid of free-loaders like Smith and they'll be right as rain.
Re: Sri Lanka v Australia, 4th ODI, Colombo (RPS) , 20 August, 2011
SL won the toss & are batting. Looks like Pup is just as carp with the coin as Punter was.

Marsh replaces Smith & Haddit drops down the order. Both moves well overdue.

I need a drink. I would formerly have said I need a beer, but the selectors might get the wrong idea.

Why is it that if a fielder gets hit on the helmet, and the ball is then caught, it's a dead ball and not out, yet if a batsman gets hit on the helmet and the ball goes to the boundary it's four?

Great work by the Aussies.
You can immediately see how things might have gone without 5 years of concrete skulls.
Though Hilditch and Nielsen probably claim this as vindickation.

That's a pretty damn fine effort by the lads. D'Oh was outstanding and the rest of the bowlers were disciplined.
Post-Argus we might just stick with D'Oh and give him a go. His line, length and variation was very good.

Good effort by Lee & Doherty. SL all out 132 in 38 overs. Their decision to leave out a batsman has backfired spectacularly.

Considering the atrocities committed by the SL army during the recent civil war that little sycophantic effort by Greig was sickening...
Swampy looking good. Get him in the Test side.

3 wickets in 4 balls was a bit of a worry (stooped Wozzies and Vixen) but the 2 Dubbers saw it home.

I'd swap this series win for a decent showing in the Tests
