No f*cking way... Rampaul(86 off 66) and Roach(24 off 36) put on 99 for the last wicket!!! 86 from a number 10 is a record. Stunner!

India are pissing it in their reply so far, though, so ultimately a bag of wank.

One thing that has absolutely improved in recent times for WI is our tailender batting. Sammy, Russel and Rampaul can all score if they put their heads down. Edwards and Roach both got decent defensive techniques and even Bishoo is not horrible as far as number 11's go.

Yeah, shame about the middle order somewhat. India did it with relative ease. Shows it was a bit of a sub-par score, even with the heroics.

Lately there have been some encouraging signs for the Windies ... even if they're being beaten in India, there have been some gutsy performances on this tour. They need consistency. Although Sammy's performances aren't strong, he seems to be bringing some pride and belief to the team, and the Edwards, Rampaul, and even Samuels ... all seem to be 'putting in' more consistently.

I enjoyed Rampaul's innings (was crossing between it and the oz highlights) and Roach batted sensibly before exploding a bit. You always had the feeling though that India would chase it down. The Windies are getting closer but perhaps don't have the self-belief to win against superior opposition. Rampaul looked quite sweaty and a tad tired towards the end too so you wonder if it tookd the edge of him. Roach was also sweating profusely.
