Isn't Darren Bravo supposed to be the new Lara? That's probably the quote I was thinking of. Nowadays SRT's search for his 100th international ton more resembles Jack Hobbs' effort to equal Grace's record of 126 fc centuries in 1925 when he had to apologise to the media for disappointing them so often although he eventually managed to reach and surpass his target in the same match. SRT is about right though in being half as consistent as The Don.
