as far as worlds greatest liar a bit OTT. to a pollie it's pramatism ask abbott about that he is guilty of being the worlds greatest liar. it is a silly person who actualy believes a promise that a pollie makes whether that be labor, liberal/nationals.

Minority Governments work in this fashion, compromise and negotiation, australia is not used to having minority governments and don't know how to deal with it.

but in the end It is the peoples fault cos they voted a hung parliament in so accept that and stop demanding an new election cos it don't work that way.

So people calling this another lie were the ones calling for her to drop this policy. And she did. And they are still not happy. It is a no win situation.

Gillard has been 'playing' Wilkie from day one & now with the defection of Slipper, she no longer has to bend over to his demands. 'One trick' Wilkie would do better to find himself a cosy directorship somewhere 'cause he aint gunna be around after the next election.
