The Imperial nipples seem a bit irritable today. No smell of oily rags?

Third day laid low with a stomach bug. Sick, and sick of it.

Kin ell man, hope you get better soon. Those stomach bugs can be a real shit, pardon the pun. They totally waste you.
Re: testing ... is this one of your cars, Ian?
It's probably typhoid, from the local takeaway.

What's the incubation period? Could I have caught it in Perth? I'd like to blame the Wozzie if possible.lardbucket wrote:It's probably typhoid, from the local takeaway.

Could be. On the other hand, cirrhosis now looms as a possibility.

I'm now guessing that you had some half-cooked dodgy pepperoni pizza with embee, and that you hoped the 38 beers that accompanied it sterilised the cholera, staphylococci, enteropathogenic E coli, and Salmonella all over it. Bad news, Emperor. You have The Assassin Bug.

Was I the only one humming along to Ecstacy of gold, or did no one else make it to that bit?

Well, it was a large bowl of mussels, not pizza.lardbucket wrote:I'm now guessing that you had some half-cooked dodgy pepperoni pizza with embee, and that you hoped the 38 beers that accompanied it sterilised the cholera, staphylococci, enteropathogenic E coli, and Salmonella all over it. The number of beers may have been 38 in normal terms, given the large glasses they were being served in at the Belgian Beer Cafe. (I recommend the blondeleffe, especially if you can 'borrow' the 'souvenir' glass it is served in.)
But does The Assassin Bug take 12 days to kick in?

Actually, closer to 19 days, I think it might be.

Anyhoo, off to bed before I get an even stronger desire to down more alkeyhole. I don't think returning to work from three days sick leave with a hangover would be a good look...
