It was a body-pop into the robot into a full-on breakdance including the Flic-Flic, Jackhammer, Toprock and then finally and very aptly the Cricket.
Then there was 3 minutes of human beatbox, with Murali throwin down some lyrics about 'it aint eezee'.

Oh, classy.
And at the batting 'performance'.

And a performance it was indeed; so good they were asked to perform an encore.doremi wrote:Oh, classy.

Invader Zim wrote:Vaas just looked him in the eye and pointed in the general direction of the rooms...was beautifully understated considering what a loud-mouth buffoon Prior is.
Fair play to Prior though, the rueful smile and nod of appreciation acknowledged the fact he's willing to live and die by the sword.
Collingwoods post-match interview made me feel ill. Apparently Englands failure was down to playing inexperienced players, two days in the field and Sri Lanka putting them 'under intense pressure'.
****ing lightweights!
On a positive note during the course of the day I've written all my Christmas cards and finished wrapping all my presents, yay.

Same old soundbites though. If cricket was played with words, England would be murdering all and sundry.
It's why Prior's in the team, so we can win in word cricket. Word up...
He's been desperately reading Harry Potter to improve his command of the English Language, but the only result of this is that he's consistently heard to shout "Accio!" whenever the balls coming towards him.
The results are, thus far, inconclusive.

England's lowest score since their 77 (McGrath 8-38 ) at Lord's in June 1997. Their lowest score abroad since their 46 (Ambrose 6-24, Walsh 3-16) at Port-of-Spain in March 1994. Their previous lowest score in the sub-continent was 102 (Kapil Dev 5-70, Madan Lal 5-23) at Mumbai in December 1981.
England's (currently) worst ever defeat is an innings and 332 runs to Australia at Brisbane in December 1946 (645, 141 & 172). Their worst ever defeat on the sub-continent is innings and 215 runs to Sri Lanka at Colombo in December 2003 (265 & 148, 628). There are 5 survivors from that game in the SL side (Sanga, Jaya, Dilshan, Vaas & Murali) but only one survivor in the England side (Vaughan).

Previously, 81 was a happy number for English cricket fans.

Nice, nice...
So really, what he's saying is the selectors are qunts and only he batted with any b0llocks at all.
Well, he's half right.

His best line was that the team "know where we are at the moment. Looking at the team from the outside, it might look like we have lost our way, but we know who we are and where we are headed".

Well, that's true. They all seem to speak in the third person so they know who they are and where they are headed is plain to see, 6th and below in the Test rankings.

Time to put an end to Vaughan's "survival" perhaps .... permanently.

HAHAHAHAHA!!
Only just woken up after throwing up for much of the night
Can someone just let me know before I crawl back into my hole - did we take any positives from this at the end of day interviews? :|
Jesus.... if ever a team didn't deserve to carry its head so smugly it's this lot right now.

There's a thread on the positives. Good Xmas Office party obviously, had the sausage rolls been left out for too long under the halogen lights?

We were due a spectacular collapse. Multan 2005, Adelaide 2006, and now Galle 2007. I wonder where 2008's comedy will take place.....

Fantasy Football, doc, Fantasy Football.
I've been top since it started and have pretty much sat back and left my team alone. Of course, I don't see this as anything great - it's a lot of luck and down to individual manager's whims and the way Mak's team is going will surpass me before long.
However, when there's a bunch of cleft-palated gibbons starting whooping around and getting their glib little cyber-peckers out and start caressing them with a pair of tweezers in the EPL thread I do think "Well, sherbert dibdab, maybe if you put as much smarminess into your team selection, you wouldn't be nnth in the ignominious FB FF league."
