Whincup is a qualifying genius!!! Pulls out brilliant flying laps in both qualifying sessions at Clipsal, and gets P1 in both.

Foxy's coverage is better than Ten's IMHO. Although they seem to have split up the expert pairing of Grandpa Skaife and Cromley, with the former at Fox (with grumpy Russell Ingall of all people Very Happy) and Crompton at Ten with boxhead Rust.

Deary me, Scotty McLaughlin has locked an engine in the warm up and dropped oil everywhere. Late start now.

The Giz can't top Courtney. So it's Courtney, Coulthard and Whincup for the 250 this arvo.

Story broke a couple of days ago, but it seems Marcus Ambrose has taken his bat, ball and bottom lip home with him. Has asked to be stood down from the no.1 Penske driver position. Clearly finding the return to V8 Supercars way tougher than he expected. Always was a Ford ponce.

Jamie Whincup won the 1st of the enduros at Sandown this arvo.

In an ominous showing prior to Bathurst, the 888 team filled the podium, with Van Gisbergen and Lowndes in 2nd and 3rd.

Van Gisbergen pushed his drivers championship lead out to 55 points over Scott McLaughlin

Fairytale win for Craig Lowndes in his final drive at Bathurst as a full time driver.

I felt sorry for Dave Reynolds who pretty much lead until lap 140 when he cramped up.
