Phurt, I've been talking to myself in here all day. TO and h dropped in momentarily, but other than that, it's been chirping crickets at ten paces.

At least the chirping crickets would have made more sense.

Yeah, I've got a bit but it's all pretty lame ODI based stuff, given the lack of Tests recently. Pretty tedious S&D stuff like two identical top scores in an ODI innings (as Wade and Clarke did recently v the Ghanis - 75 each).

The old h is good for a chuckle now and then, as long as you ignore the harping. Cool

I had the page open at work most of the day, just to see what was happening but was too busy to post for the most.

I was quite the opposite. I'm waiting on approval of funding for the large project I'm involved in. Finger twiddling stuff. Excellent day for posting - except no farker was around.

I'm going through staff review period. Barely a second to scratch myself (in between poking needles into voodoo dolls of senior ATO staff)

Since moving to a project management role 18 months ago, I haven't had to go through that annual bullshit. I don't miss it one bit. I had 10 staff that I had to review and "appraise". Hateful process that meant SFA, as all the wages mongos get the award rise anyway, no matter how they performed. Not so with me thought, having to bullshit about how well I did in the previous 12 months against 15 objectives and behaviours, just to eke out a miniscule annual contract value rise. Mad

Unforch, I have to deal with Gen Y investment bankers who think they rule the world.

To be fair, I have managed to knock the worst of Gen Yishness out of most of them over the years. The rest have been made redundant. Smile

Keep up the good work. There might be hope for the future after all.

Still, sorting Y-Gen is one thing - wait till you start dealing with i-Gen in 5 to 10 years. Those dark curly locks will be either pulled out or very grey. Very Happy
