Despite Taipan lambasting my lack of knowledge during the last one dayer, I see that cricinfo has came up with the same observation re. their team structure for that match.
South Africa are finding out that balancing their side in the absence of Jacques Kallis is not easy. They were a batsman light at The Oval and coupled with some lose shots by the top order it left them 30 runs short. If Wayne Parnell, who later bowled very accurately, is to bat at No. 7 the onus is on one of the top four to bat through the innings as Hashim Amla did in Southampton.

England sends SA in in overcast conditions. McLaren replaces Morkel. Surprised that Tsotsobe retained his place. England retains the same team. Elgar dodges the axe.

What does Bairstow have to do to get a game? Is Chavi being retained for his potential to bowl a few overs?

Bopara had Amla plumb, but couldn't review it because that absolute excited little girl of a man, Steveywevey Finn just had to have a review for something that was never going to get given. Hmm, that's because Finn is a total prick..
Re: England v South Africa, 4th ODI, Lords, 2 September, 2012
Aye, it never ceases to amaze how deluded some bolwers but I think the keeper deserves some scorn for not pulling that review up

Aye, Beddy should've turned that down straightaway. He's an obvious sycophant trying to ingratiate himself in with the Twatpack.

Amla has been a chance machine since the Oval, so it'll probably not be too bad.
Re: England v South Africa, 4th ODI, Lords, 2 September, 2012
Dropping him has cost England over 500 runs this summer...

Yeah, so they just said - mental.
Tredwell shells another - seriously, the shittest English slipper ever? Piss poor. I reckon even I'd have pouched them both.
Re: England v South Africa, 4th ODI, Lords, 2 September, 2012
Can we get Turdwell out of the slips please?

From Dickinfo:
"A drop in the slips? Not again... Where is Trottsky fielding? Surely with Strauss out of the picture, he should be a lock at 1st now. Thats where he is for Warks and apparently is a monster at it."
So if Trott can catch why is he waddling around the outfield or parking under the batsman's bum?

Because they have no f*cking clue. An edge went past Tredwell again, he had no chance of getting near it, it was just the fact he went down in installments. It's like he's over 45 or something. Terrible.
Re: England v South Africa, 4th ODI, Lords, 2 September, 2012
Didn't Trott take a catch with his pocket when close in for Warwickshire?

I'm loving Ravi's firm handshake celebrations after knocking over Amla and DuPlessis.

Bopara's been a better bowler than Bresnan and just about better batsman than Bresnan. Inspired choice.
Now Tredwell's spinning the ball well.
