Describing 100k in a bag as dodgy, you're getting soft in your old age. The feds are about to outlaw cash payments over 10k (dirty, farking crafts wanted 2 K) not sure which is dodgier.

Of course Q. My comment is more related to the ongoing incompetence of the Pinks.
They lose the unlosable election at Fed level (and yet that light weight skid mark Shortarse continues to smarmily sit on the Opposition front bench - still refusing to take full responsibility for the election debacle) and at State level they are mired in deep corruption shit in both NSW and Qld.
What a pack of commy buffoons.

Yeah considering the polls were only wrong because come election day, a couple of hundred thousand ozzies walked into the booth about to vote Labor and then thought Shorten.
Methinks in future the hitherto dismissed preferred PM question may have to be taken more seriously, esp if you're in Oppo.

As long as they don't work in the public service or media, feel that legal tender shouldn't be honoured, aren't tourist operators on what's left of the reef, and don't work in the hospitality industry.

Crikey. The feral Nats in NSW are blowing up their own Coalition Government over the right to kill Koalas.

The legislation is like a mad woman's shit, but the optics. Can you imagine coming home from work and telling your daughter, grandaughter, niece and when they ask what did you do at work today and you have to say "I killed koalas". Their PR firm must be the same people who advised Churchill its just a really bad fog.

Sounds like there's been a likely compromise with talk of backdowns and compromise over the koala policy.

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
Me too, h.
There has probably been no politician with more integrity than her in the past 100 years of NSW politics. What she did was no worse than what the Vulture did in her relationship with AWU official Bruce Wilson. If Gillard is to believed that she knew nothing about Wilson's dodgy shenanigans, then so is Gladys. As we know, the Vulture just shrugged it off and carried on as PM.
I am of course biased, but I don't reckon she should go anywhere.

Being the pollie with the most integrity in NSW in the last 100 years is an awfully low bar to clear. Though apart from gross stupidity I dont think shes guilty of too much else.

Maguire's phone has been tapped for ages so I guess they will access to his t/p chats with her. There may be more to come.
Inevitably the Waterhouse name popped up.

Re: Trouble in Aus State Politics
All in all it was not a great day for Tory pollies, though apparently* Albo on Q&A expressed empathy for sad Glad.
North of the Tweed, the Leader of the LNP has been referred by her own CLP for investigation. These are of claims she has solicited $s from developers at a series of swank functions (at least one of which included Dutton as a co speaker).
Queensland has finally joined the real world by banning donations from property developers. Frecklington despite her politics is no dummy and I doubt she would be stupid enough to try to circumvent donation law.
The CLP organisation is controlled by some serious RWNJ blokes and have previously orchestrated moves against the CLP Oppo leader. Looks to me like they are trying to have her removed before the State election. Some struggle with women being involved in representative roles.

Some would seem to prefer opposition on their terms than govt on others.
