Aye stoopid levels of reproduction fuelled by ridiculous superstitions are proving our undoing as a species.
We are prisoners of our success as the dominant species. Climate change and scarcity will help the spread of infectious disease.

Meanwhile, it's a lovely day in Sydney. Bit blowy, but hey, we're locked up, so who cares.

Yeah if the weather holds I might look at sailing around into the gulf. But either luck we're having I can just imagine some late season cyclones. Mother Nature really is pissed off with us of late.

That would be a normal stop for supplies and a beer. If it happens it will be no landfall, but wtf it's got a deep freeze and it's not like the fish are affected by this and hopefully the crabs too.

Locusts are the next happening thing. Just need a river of blood and Israel Falau can start sending out the "told you so sinners" tweets.

Perfect autumn day in Sydney today.
Up early to go for a rego check. Dropped into Coles at 8.00 am for some essentials, and WTF, no bog roll still.
Really, people??!!

Well little old ladies are normally an easy takedown and they get the wrinklies early bird special. If violence against the weak is not your thing offer to carry the groceries. You've been doing hiking shit. Id back you against a Zimmer frame.

We are having a colder than usual April. There was even a dusting of snow on Mt Wellington.
Re: bushfire and weather thread
Still very summery in Cairns, almost tropical with the rain. Most unusual. Probably means winter is going to be a bitch.

Re: bushfire and weather thread
Well I don't intend to be here much, but after years in the real tropics Cairns in winter is a bitch. Sometimes we get minimums as low as 13-14. Then it drizzles all day with a bloody southerly blowing. I blame you.

At least you're there this winter ... looks like I miss out on that this year, first time for a long while.
